This program, developed by Emory University, offers training and exercise opportunities to support Commissioned Corps officers’ emergency response critical care skills capabilities to meet evolving regulatory, policy, and statutory requirements that govern the training of Commissioned Corps officers mandate specific to CCHQ.

Coordinated through Emory's Office of Critical Event Preparedness and Response (CEPAR) with subject matter experts from the schools of Medicine, Nursing, Emergency Medicine, a section of Prehospital and Disaster Medicine, and Emory Nursing Experience, this blended learning program includes 23 interactive, online modules and a scenario-based psychomotor skills validation.

  • Accreditation Status: Emory Nursing Professional Development Center (ENPDC) is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation.
  • Financial Relationships: ENPDC has evaluated everyone who has the ability to control content of this activity (planning committee members, subject matter experts, presenters) and found that no relevant financial relationships exist.
  • Awarding Contact Hours: To obtain contact hours participants must
